DESCRIPTION:Spend the morning with us to plant 100’s of koala food trees and other local trees and shrubs to increase koala habitat in the beautiful Arthurs Seat State Park in Dromana.  Habitat loss is the main reason for the decline of koalas and other wildlife\, so let’s do something about it! \nThis is a great opportunity to learn about our environment and local wildlife (including koalas) while helping us to increase available habitat. \nImportant Information: Please wear long pants and closed shoes as we will be walking through bush and or grassy areas. Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water and snacks.  We will provide all tools and hand sanitiser. \nPlease ensure you follow state government COVID restrictions. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated to attend. \nParking is in the carpark of the Hillview Community Reserve in Dromana.  From there we will walk to the entrance to Arthurs Seat State Park.  See Map – Arthurs Seat State Park Hillview Reserve planting site map \nYou must register your attendance via the Eventbrite link below. DESCRIPTION:Spend the morning with us to maintain and improve koala habitat in the beautiful Arthurs Seat State Park.  This is a great opportunity to learn about our environment and to spot local wildlife\, including koalas\, while helping us to remove invasive weeds. \nImportant Information: It is important you wear long pants and closed shoes as we will be walking through bush areas. Please bring sunscreen\, a hat\, gardening gloves\, water and snacks. We have a good chance of spotting wildlife in this area so don’t forget your camera! We will provide all tools and hand sanitiser. Please follow state government COVID restrictions. \nPlease park in the carpark of the Hillview Community Reserve in Dromana and walk to the entrance to Arthurs Seat State Park.  See Map – Arthurs Seat State Park Hillview Reserve planting site map \nYou must register your attendance via the Eventbrite link below.
