SUMMARY:Koala Food Tree Planting Day - Merricks North
DESCRIPTION:Spend the morning with us to plant 100’s of koala food trees and other local trees and shrubs to increase koala habitat in the beautiful Mornington Peninsula town of Merricks.  Habitat loss is the main reason for the decline of koalas and other wildlife\, so let’s do something about it! \nThis is a great opportunity to learn about our environment and local wildlife (including koalas) while helping us to increase available habitat. \nImportant Information: Please wear long pants and closed shoes as we will be walking through bush and or grassy areas. Bring your own hat\, gardening gloves\, water and snacks.  We will provide all tools and hand sanitiser. \nPlease ensure you follow current state government COVID restrictions. \nWe are planting on private property at 161 Foxeys Road\, Merricks North\, You will see our big teardrop flag near the entrance to the property. Please drive in slowly and follow instructions for parking.  \nYou must register your attendance via the Eventbrite link below. Please only register if you are definitely attending. Spaces limited.
